Job Summary
The Restaurant Cleaning Area Supervisor is responsible for overseeing cleaning operations across multiple restaurant locations within a designated area. This role ensures all facilities meet company cleanliness standards, health regulations, and safety requirements. The supervisor manages cleaning teams, conducts inspections, coordinates schedules, and maintains high standards of sanitation and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support cleaning staff across assigned restaurant locations
Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
Develop and manage cleaning schedules to ensure full coverage
Train new and existing team members on proper cleaning procedures and safety protocols
Ensure proper use, storage, and maintenance of cleaning equipment and chemicals
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and place orders as needed
Address and resolve performance issues or operational challenges
Collaborate with restaurant managers to ensure cleaning standards align with operational needs
Prepare reports on inspections, incidents, and team performance
Ensure compliance with local health department and food safety regulations
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
5+ years of supervisory experience in cleaning, janitorial, hospitality, or restaurant environments
Knowledge of sanitation standards and cleaning best practices
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation

Working Conditions
Frequent travel between restaurant locations

Compensation
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour based on experience
Schedule
20hrs/week (4hrs per night)
3AM-7AM nightly
