The Embassy Suites by Hilton Colorado Springs is searching for hardworking individuals who are eager to contribute to the efficient operation of our busy kitchen as our next dishwasher. We require a dependable person who can jump in and assist with a range of kitchen activities. You will be scraping, sorting, and loading dishes into the dishwashing machine in addition to unloading dirty dishes brought in by bussers. This is a part-time, AM shift position. Responsibilities: • Keep track of dishwashing machine mechanical defects while also maintaining accurate levels of detergent and cleaning supplies • Take part in employee meetings regularly to stay up to date on all policies and safety regulations • Maintain a clean working environment by sweeping and mopping kitchen floors daily • Unload the dishwashing machine and place utensils and dishes in appropriate storage areas • Sort dishes, scrape plates, and rinse glassware before loading into the dishwashing machine Qualifications: • Prior food service industry experience is highly desired • Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic • Great physical health and stamina • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification Compensation: $15 per hour
