We need someone dependable who can pitch in and help with a variety of kitchen tasks. In addition to unloading dirty dishes brought in by bussers, you will be scraping, sorting, and loading dishes into the dishwashing machine. Responsibilities: • Mop and clean kitchen floors daily to keep the workplace neat and sanitary • Sort dishes, scrape plates, and rinse glassware before loading into the dishwashing machine • After unloading the dishwasher, return utensils and plates to their proper locations • Participate in regular employee meetings to ensure all procedures and safety rules are followed • Keep track of dishwashing machine mechanical defects while also maintaining accurate levels of detergent and cleaning supplies Qualifications: • Excellent stamina and physical health • Prior food service industry experience is highly desired • Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent • Possesses a strong work ethic and have high attention to detail
