Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and oversight to multiple restaurant locations within the district.
Recruit, develop, and mentor General Managers, building strong leadership pipelines.
Ensure each restaurant delivers Perfect Every Time through guest service, food quality, speed, and cleanliness.
Conduct regular restaurant visits to assess performance, coach managers, and engage with guests and team members.
Analyze and manage district-level financial performance, including P&L statements, sales growth, labor, food costs, and controllables.
Oversee inventory management, food safety, truck orders, and compliance across all locations.
Ensure restaurants maintain readiness to pass all health inspections and uphold brand standards at all times.
Partner with General Managers to build guest relationships and handle escalated customer recovery situations.
Lead customer outreach and community engagement efforts to increase catering sales and grow market presence.
Hold managers accountable for recruiting, staffing, and scheduling to ensure proper coverage.
Drive district-level culture by recognizing top performers, addressing challenges quickly, and ensuring all teams stay aligned with Layne’s values.
Support new store openings and ensure operational excellence in both established and new markets.
Required Qualifications:
3–5 years of general manager AND/OR multi-unit restaurant management experience (fast casual or QSR preferred)
Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze and act on P&L statements
Proven track record of developing leaders and building high-performing teams
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Must be 21+ years old with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Current ServSafe Manager Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
Ability to travel regularly within assigned district and work a flexible schedule
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience as a District Manager or Area Coach in the restaurant industry
High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
Experience opening new restaurants or driving sales growth across multiple units
Compensation:
$65,000 – $75,000 per year + performance-based bonus opportunities
