Restaurant Expeditor
Job Summary: Perkins Restaurant & Bakery is looking for an organized and energetic Restaurant Expeditor to help ensure smooth, accurate, and timely food service. As an expeditor, you’ll be the key connection between our kitchen staff and servers—making sure every plate looks great, meets order specifications, and gets to the guest promptly.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate the flow of orders between kitchen and dining room staff.
Review tickets and verify that meals are plated correctly, complete, and meet Perkins quality standards.
Communicate special requests, allergies, or modifications clearly to the kitchen.
Keep the pass-through area clean, stocked, and organized during shifts.
Help maintain fast and friendly service during busy periods.
Work closely with both kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For:
Prior restaurant or food service experience is helpful, but not required.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to stay calm and organized in a fast-paced environment.
Positive team attitude and a willingness to learn.
Availability for a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
