    About the Role

    This is a hands-on restaurant leadership position responsible for all aspects of daily operations.

    The General Manager will oversee financial performance, staffing, scheduling, inventory controls, guest experience, and team development while maintaining the service standards expected in a fine dining environment.

    The restaurant serves approximately 60 guests during lunch, 60 guests during dinner, and up to 100 guests during peak service periods. With seating for approximately 75 guests and average guest checks around $65, the operation combines elevated hospitality with strong operational standards.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee daily restaurant operations
    • Manage P&L performance and profitability
    • Lead scheduling and labor management
    • Supervise ordering, receiving, and inventory controls
    • Manage vendor and purveyor relationships
    • Recruit, train, and develop team members
    • Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
    • Oversee payroll processes
    • Support service execution during peak periods
    • Ensure guest satisfaction and service recovery
    • Drive accountability and operational consistency
    • Coach and mentor management and hourly team members

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 3 years of restaurant management experience
    • Strong P&L management experience
    • Experience with ordering, receiving, and inventory controls

    • Food safety knowledge
    • Strong communication and leadership skills
    • Wine and beverage knowledge preferred
