About the Role:

Must be available weekday Lunch shifts. The Bay Bar and Grille in Bozeman, MT is looking for an energetic and welcoming Host/Hostess/Busser to join our team! You'll be the first and last impression for our guests, helping create a dining experience that keeps people coming back. If you love a fast-paced environment and enjoy making people feel at home, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Greet and seat guests in a friendly, timely, and professional manner

Manage reservations and waitlists using the restaurant's seating system

Monitor dining room flow and communicate table availability to servers and kitchen staff

Clear, clean, and reset tables quickly to minimize guest wait times

Assist servers by refilling water, removing dishes, and supporting overall table maintenance

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and front-of-house areas

Provide guests with menu information and answer general questions about the restaurant

Requirements:

Previous experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or customer service role preferred but not required

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a positive, outgoing attitude

Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

Reliable, punctual, and a team-oriented work ethic

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs

Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Must be 16 years of age or older
