Responsibilities: • Learn the menu, including the daily specials and accurately describe how dishes are prepared • Greet guests warmly as they enter to create a positive first impression of the restaurant • Monitor the dining room for tidiness, ensure all tables and chairs are organized, and that condiments are restocked when needed • Help clear and wipe down tables and set up tables with utensils and glassware for the next party • Direct customers to their seats, ensuring tables are set properly with enough tableware for each diner, water glasses are filled, and menus are sanitized Qualifications: • Must have excellent communication, customer service, and organization skills, as well as the ability to deal with customer requests in a courteous, efficient, and timely manner • Thrive in a fast-moving environment while working in a team situation with extended hours of standing to be expected • Prior food services, or hospitality service industry experience is preferred but not required • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent GED and should speak English well Compensation: $15 - $16 hourly
