Restaurant Host/Server Shift Coordinator
Restaurant HOST/SERVER Shift Coordinator must be 100% guest-focused and consistently project a positive, upbeat attitude!
As a customer greeter you hold a critical position as you are the first and last person our guests will see.
Your number one job priority is to consistently make a Good First Impression on all arriving guest by maintaining good eye contact and smiling when addressing all guests.
Responsibilities:
Managing our team of dynamic hosts, hostesses and food runners
Greeting guests in a friendly welcoming manner
Coordinating serving sections and opening and closing duties
Managing a wait-list
Communicating wait times to guests
Managing the seating chart
Seating guests and distributing menus
Cleaning tables and ensuring host area and restaurant is in order and clean
Taking and distributing to-go orders for individuals and to-go delivery services
Qualities:
Customer service experience and consistency
People skills with compassion and empathy
Professionalism and ability to remain calm
Ability to plan and multi-task under pressure
Organization and attention to detail
Ability to plan and be proactive in carrying out planning
Understanding of basic math
Be high-energy with great verbal communication skills
Understand what it is to be part of a team
Experience:
1-3 Years Experience as a Host/Hostess
1-3 Years Experience in Team Management
1-3 Years Experience in the Restaurant Industry
Proven track record of success
