Kitchen Staff / Prep Cook

As a Kitchen Staff / Prep Cook, you'll be an essential part of our kitchen operations, ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of high-quality ingredients and dishes. You'll work closely with our culinary team to maintain our standards of excellence and contribute to a positive dining experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

Food Preparation: Accurately and efficiently prepare a variety of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, portioning meats, and preparing dough, according to Lamppost Pizza and Brewery's recipes and standards.

Kitchen Support: Assist the culinary team with various tasks, including stocking inventory, organizing dry storage, and ensuring all necessary ingredients are readily available for service.

Quality Control: Monitor food quality and freshness, ensuring all ingredients meet our high standards before preparation and serving.

Sanitation & Safety: Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines and regulations.

Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other kitchen staff and front-of-house team members to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfillment.

Customer Service: A positive attitude and strong customer service skills are valued, as you may interact with customers or assist with front-of-house needs.

Adaptability: Be prepared to work in a fast-paced and dynamic kitchen environment, adapting to changing priorities and customer demands.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role preferred, but not required. We're willing to train the right candidate!

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Strong customer service skills and a positive, can-do attitude.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.

Understanding of basic food safety and sanitation practices.

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
