    Exciting opportunity to join the Doubletree by Hilton Charlotte City Center and Forchetta Italian restaurant as our Restaurant Manager. As our restaurant manager, you are responsible for creating a plan that maximizes our financial and operational goals. You will be able to recruit, hire, and train a staff who is passionate about delivering great customer service. The manager needs to ensure that the restaurant complies with all local, state, and federal regulations. Our ideal candidate has 2-3 years of experience managing a restaurant or a similar role in the customer service industry. If this describes you, please start your application right away! Responsibilities: • Retain proper inventory levels of food and dining items and make precise plans for anticipated sales patterns • Oversee staffing levels by recruiting, interviewing, and training candidates for all restaurant positions • Create a comprehensive plan for the restaurant that considers the market, local competitors, sales revenue and expenses • Directs and coordinates all aspects of marketing and community events, including planning and executing them • Hold team members accountable by conducting performance reviews with them and using performance management Qualifications: • Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office, strongly desired • Prior food service experience managing inventory levels, budgets, and operating costs is required • Possess excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills • Must have 2-3 years prior experience managing a staff or in a relevant supervisory role, preferably in food service • A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required
