    About Us

At Black Sheep Beaufort, we don’t just serve food—we create memorable experiences rooted in care, creativity, and connection. As an independently owned, scratch-kitchen restaurant with a focus on wood-fired pizza, gourmet sandwiches, and rotating specials, we pride ourselves on delivering thoughtful service and exceptional flavor in a fun, fast-paced environment.

We are currently hiring two Front of House Managers to lead together—sharing responsibilities, supporting one another, and creating an environment where both guests and staff feel seen, heard, and valued. Inspired by the philosophy of Unreasonable Hospitality, we’re building a team culture where joy, generosity, and excellence are the norm.

    What You’ll Do

You’ll serve as the heartbeat of the dining room—setting the tone for the guest experience and the work culture. This is a hands-on, service-forward leadership role ideal for someone who’s equally passionate about mentoring staff, elevating guest interactions, and keeping operations tight and efficient.

    Key Responsibilities:

Co-lead and support all front-of-house operations: service, bar, host stand, and reservations

Build and manage weekly schedules for servers, hosts, and bartenders

Be ready to step into any FOH role—host, bartender, server, runner—as needed

Foster a culture of genuine hospitality and accountability through daily coaching

Train new hires and support ongoing staff development

Handle large parties and floor planning for smooth flow and strong table turns

Troubleshoot and manage POS system, including programming and staff training

Assist with menu building, QR codes, and print/digital updates

Monitor and manage bar inventory and FOH supplies

Lead guest recovery with empathy and professionalism

Maintain food safety and cleanliness standards throughout the guest-facing areas

Contribute to occasional social media content and promotions

    Who You Are

A service-minded leader who finds joy in helping others succeed

Calm under pressure, proactive in solving problems, and sharp on details

A natural coach who leads by example

Comfortable with front-of-house systems (POS, scheduling software, QR menus)

Highly organized, punctual, and able to pivot when needed

Experienced in hosting, bartending, and serving

Familiar with bar inventory systems and bar service standards

Able to collaborate effectively with back-of-house leadership

Open to working evenings, weekends, and holidays

Bonus points if you’ve planned private dining events or worked with open kitchens

    Why Work With Us?

Scratch kitchen with no late-night shifts—kitchen closes at 9:00 PM

Collaborative co-leadership model (you’re not doing it all alone)

Supportive ownership and strong team culture

Paid time off and flexible schedule options

    Staff discounts and shift meals

Creative input welcome on service, food, and guest experience

Scenic location in the heart of downtown Beaufort
