    Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Shift Leader for our South Dallas location at to oversee daily operations within our fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of food preparation, POS systems, and restaurant management. This role is vital in ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining food safety standards, and supervising staff during shifts. The Shift Leader will serve as a key team member in delivering high-quality dining experiences across casual and fine dining settings, including catering and banquet services.

    Responsibilities

    Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company policies.

    Lead staff training and development initiatives to enhance team performance and service quality.

    Oversee food preparation, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and quality control measures.

    Manage POS systems such as Clover/Toast POS for accurate order processing and cash handling.

    Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock control, and coordinate with kitchen management to ensure adequate supplies.

    Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure exceptional customer service at all times.

    Oversee food production processes, including catering, banquet events, and bar service when applicable.

    Assist in budgeting, labor scheduling, and operational planning to optimize restaurant efficiency.

    Ensure compliance with health regulations related to food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards.

    Support team management through interviewing potential staff members, conducting performance evaluations, and managing shift staffing needs.

    Requirements

    Ability to lift up 50lbs and work until 2AM on Fridays & Saturdays

    Must have reliable vehicle transportation ability to go get change orders and pick up food orders when needed.

    Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food industry; casual dining or fine dining experience preferred.

    Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen management, and food safety standards.

    Experience with POS systems such as Clover/Toast POS; cash handling expertise required.

    Demonstrated leadership skills with a background in staff training, team management, and supervising diverse teams.

    Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.

    Familiarity with inventory control, food production processes, catering operations, and hospitality management.

    Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

    Previous experience in managing shifts within quick service & fast food restaurants or similar settings is highly desirable.
