Job Title: Restaurant Manager
Classification: Exempt
Job Summary The Restaurant Manager assists the General Manager in leading all aspects of restaurant operations to deliver a culture of hospitality and a high-quality menu and motivate our staff to provide excellent customer service. Responsibilities include maintaining the restaurant’s revenue, profitability, and quality goals; ensuring efficient restaurant operations and maintaining high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; recruiting and hiring qualified cooks, bartenders, and servers; setting work schedules; overseeing food prep; and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations for restaurants.
The manager is expected to lead by example and uplift our staff during busy moments in our fast-paced environment. Ultimately, you will ensure our restaurant runs smoothly and that customers have pleasant dining experiences.

Essential Functions
Coordinate daily front and back of house restaurant operations.
Deliver a Culture of Hospitality through superior service and maximize customer satisfaction.
Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints.
Regularly review product quality and research new vendors.
Organize and supervise shifts.
Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity.
Estimate future needs for dining supplies, kitchen utensils and cleaning products.
Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
Manage the restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it.
Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste.
Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly, and annual revenues and expenses.
Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events.
Recommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g. discounts and social media ads).
Train new and current employees in proper customer service practices.
Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations.
Responsibly delegate and follow up on tasks while remaining accountable overall for restaurant and team. members.
Comply with Company policies and procedures.
Required Skills/Abilities

Education and Experience
2+ years’ supervisory/management experience
2+ years’ restaurant experience
Food manager/ServSafe certification required
