Responsibilities: • Receive proper payment from the guest and ensure the accuracy of the guest check and method of payment to protect both the customer and the restaurant from transaction errors • Promptly seat guests when they arrive, take food and beverage orders, serve meals on time while accommodating any special requests • Attend all pre-shift and departmental meetings to improve communications and develop an understanding of products, services, and facilities • Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed • Establish a full knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials to respond to client inquiries and make recommendations Qualifications: • Possesses strong, organizational and time management skills • This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service • We prefer some experience working in the food service industry • Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers • Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification Compensation: $8 - $10 hourly
