    Job Description

    ** JOB OVERVIEW:**

    Under the general guidance of the Assistant Bar Manager, the ****Restaurant Server assist in ensuring friendly, efficient and effective service of food and beverages to all guests in a timely fashion in accordance with standards and individual guest requirements, at all times respecting the company’s Core Values.

    YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed and comfortable.
    • Present menus and inform guests about daily specials, assisting them in making informed dining choices.
    • Take accurate food and beverage orders, noting any special requests or dietary restrictions.
    • Relay orders to the kitchen and bar staff efficiently to ensure timely preparation and delivery.
    • Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and professional manner.
    • Check in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
    • Clear and clean tables after guests depart, preparing them for the next seating.
    • Process payments accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system, handling cash and credit transactions securely.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including restocking supplies as needed.
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient service throughout the shift.
    • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
    • Handle guest complaints or issues with professionalism, seeking assistance from management when necessary.
    • Stay informed about menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to answer guest inquiries effectively.
    • Assist in opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down the dining area.
    • Uphold the restaurant's standards for service quality, appearance, and guest experience.
    • Any other reasonable duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
    • We recognize we are in the hospitality industry and that may require us to provide lateral service.
    • We will on occasion call for each individual in the team to, on a routine basis perform various related tasks as needed in the spirit of providing exceptional guest service.
