Responsibilities: • Actively engage in pre-shift and department meetings to get a thorough knowledge of all goods, services, and facility operations • Greet customers, take food and beverage orders from diners, serve orders promptly, and accommodate any special needs or requests • Establish a full knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials to respond to client inquiries and make recommendations • Perform all restocking and cleaning activities as directed, including opening and closing duties • Receive proper payment from the guest and ensure the accuracy of the guest check and method of payment to protect both the customer and the restaurant from transaction errors Qualifications: • Possesses strong, organizational and time management skills • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED) • This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers • We prefer some experience working in the food service industry Compensation: $14 hourly
