Job Description:

We are seeking a personable and experienced Restaurant Server with a background in hotel settings to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a passion for delivering exceptional service to our diverse clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

- Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive dining experience from start to finish
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them efficiently into our system
- Provide detailed menu information, offering recommendations and answering questions regarding dietary restrictions and preferences
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders
- Monitor and attend to guests’ needs, promptly addressing any issues to ensure satisfaction
- Handle payment transactions accurately and efficiently, following hotel protocols
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area according to health and safety standards
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for service as needed
- Support team members in various tasks to assure great service and an efficient operation

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a server, preferably in a hotel or upscale dining environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of point-of-sale systems and basic math skills for handling transactions
- A genuine passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to guest satisfaction
- Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays as needed for the duration of the shift
