Job Title: Restaurant Supervisor Department: Food & Beverage Reports To: Food & Beverage Management
Position Overview
The Restaurant Supervisor supports the daily operations of restaurant and bar service while helping maintain high standards of guest satisfaction, team performance, and operational efficiency. This role provides floor leadership during service, assists with staff development, and works closely with management to ensure a smooth and positive dining experience for guests.
Primary Responsibilities
Support the daily operation of restaurant and bar outlets, ensuring service standards are consistently maintained
Actively oversee dining room operations during service periods and provide assistance where needed
Address guest questions, concerns, and service recovery situations in a professional and timely manner
Assist with training, coaching, and motivating team members to maintain a strong service culture
Help implement menu updates, service procedures, and operational standards
Monitor cleanliness, organization, and sanitation throughout all Food & Beverage areas
Ensure compliance with health regulations, safety procedures, and company policies
Assist with inventory oversight, supply ordering, and cost control initiatives
Work collaboratively with kitchen and management teams to ensure efficient communication and execution of service
Participate in pre-shift meetings and communicate daily priorities, menu features, and operational updates to staff
Observe guest trends and feedback to help improve the overall dining experience and support business growth
Provide support for occasional resort events or private functions as needed
Assist with special projects and additional operational duties assigned by management
Qualifications
Previous supervisory or leadership experience in restaurant or hospitality operations preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Knowledge of food safety and guest service standards
Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to stand and move throughout the shift and lift moderate amounts when necessary
