    RESTAURANT SUPPLY CHAIN SOLUTIONS, LLC, A YUM! BRANDS CO-OP, IS CURRENTLY SEEKING A SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST TO JOIN THE SUPPLY PLANNING TEAM.

     

    RSCS has invested in a broad scaled technology initiative with Blue Yonder (BY) to provide end to end visibility and ensure supply continuity for $7B+ in critical Yum! Brand food and packaging components which support 16,000+ restaurants and $20B in revenue across Pizza Hut, KFC, and Taco Bell in the United States.

     

    Reporting to the Senior Director of Supply Planning, the Senior Business Analyst will support the end users in coordinating all technical aspects of the BY system (both Demand and Fulfillment). The overarching mission of the role is to maximize the effectiveness of the end users by keeping the BY system running at top performance and with the best data available. Further, they will seek out and lead projects to help RSCS continuously evolve its supply planning capability to higher levels of capability and maturity.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Monitor and resolve day-to-day issues with data integration including but not limited to:
      • In-bound files from brands for store sales, inventory, bill of materials and related master data
      • In-bound files from Distributors and Suppliers for inventory, open PO, planned production and related master data
      • In-bound files from BY containing scheduled data extracts for use in custom reporting and other RSCS batch processes
      • Data mapping between source and destination systems
    • Lead process, tools, and collaboration to ensure uptime and usability of BY including but not limited to:
      • Partnering with RSCS IT, implement data correction techniques that prevent batch failures or that advise the business on master data errors
      • Conduct regular meetings with RSCS IT to manage and resolve internal support tickets as created by BY Users
      • Conduct regular meetings with BY to prioritize, manage and resolve open incident cases in the BY support portal as created by BY Users
      • Collaborate with BY Cloud Services or other consultant groups to develop, test, UAT, and promote new data or processes into production
      • Participate in regular meetings with Brand IT and other key stakeholders to stay abreast of any technology initiatives which may impact the BY system
    • Act as project manager and technical coordinator, on behalf of the BY Users and in collaboration with RSCS IT:
      • For any new data integration activity with new partners or for new data sets with existing partners. This may include recommending, testing, and managing the implementation of new methods to improve data reliability over time.
      • For any new enhancements to DMTools, the data warehouse, business intelligence reports, supplier webtool, or other improvement initiatives to improve the efficiency of data collection and dissemination to RSCS users and stakeholders
      • To monitor BY system performance and to schedule any system upgrades as required by the RSCS-BY services agreement
      • Represent the Product Supply Department as a team member in major RSCS technology upgrades (example: GPS upgrade, data monitoring applications, Enterprise Data Warehouse upgrade, etc.)
    • Setup new BY Users inside the application and maintain the active users list as required by internal audit requirements
    • Analyst must stay abreast of current industry trends and establish new methodologies for data driven processes and digital enablement. May be asked to participate in industry advisory and/or user groups
    • . Role is responsible for collection of user requirements, wireframing, and data mapping to BY outputs and other RSCS data sources such that another RSCS or external resource can create dashboards or reports. Other duties as assigned by management

    Required Skills

    • Minimum of 5 years business experience, including two or more years managing supply planning data systems in an environment that leverages a high volume of transactional data for inventory, demand forecasting and fulfillment planning.
    • Prefer experience at an organization supporting supply planning, manufacturing, or distribution for QSR.
    • Bachelor’s degree required. Prefer Supply Chain Management degree.
    • Prefer APICS CPIM certification, Six Sigma Green Belt, or ISM CPSM certification.
    • Required technical experience: Supply Chain Planning/ERP Solutions (i.e.: Blue Yonder, Oracle, SAP, Logility), Microsoft Office Suite, Analytics (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.), Coordination driving performance of third-party Cloud Service providers, Oracle, or Microsoft SQL (queries to identify data issues), and System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Experience with data cleansing tools (Talend Data Quality, TIBCO Clarity, etc.) is a plus.
    • Prefer Blue Yonder Expertise: Comprehension of data models, tables, and columns and recent implementation or upgrade
