Restaurant Supply Chain Solutions, LLC, a Yum! Brands Co-op, is currently seeking a Director, Supply Chain Operations, to join the KFC Concept team in Louisville, KY.
Position Overview
This position is responsible for leadership and portfolio management of all areas of supply chain operations related to development, equipment & assets, smallwares, and technology for the KFC Brand which has annual revenue of over $5B across more than 3,900 restaurants.
Position Responsibilities
**Serve as the KFC Concept Team leader for the Development, Equipment & Assets, Smallwares, and Technology Supply Chain Operations **
- Develop comprehensive supply plan strategies by collaborating with cross functional teams, procurement, DES, suppliers, and distributors including planning contingencies, capacity assurance and managing manufacturing lead times to support timelines while ensuring minimal obsolescence.
- Be a trusted advisor and influencer across internal and external stakeholders including Brand, Franchisee, Distributors, Supplier, etc.
- Partner with KFC engineering and operations departments to align on new designs, specifications, processes and/or strategies.
- Support AOP in reducing costs, lead times and leveraging franchise support to extend system-wide opportunities.
- Take leadership role in communications and drive alignment with all Brand/RSCS stakeholders for Brand initiatives and facility actions.
- Facilitate the resolution of equipment, assets, technology, and services challenges.
- Develop and maintain key relationships with the brand, Franchise partners and concept board.
- Apply analytics and process improvement techniques in post event analysis and optimization efforts.
- Manage and oversee development pipeline and equipment base business to ensure supply continuity based on demand signals.
- Lead work groups to drive initiatives forward.
Lead facilitator with all internal and external stakeholders:
- Representation on DES Leadership Team providing context and feedback to drive operational efficiencies.
- Ensure connectivity and drive alignment internally and externally regarding the direction KFC is taking across development, technology, and operations.
- Serve as single point of contact for internal and external business partners including project teams, field construction managers, suppliers, distributors, procurement, and leadership team.
- Build out business cases to prioritize, select and gain alignment on project plans in support of the review and approval of initiatives.
- Partner with KFC A&D, engineering, and operations departments to align on annual strategies and AOP.
- Communicate with franchise and concept boards via presentation or newsletters regarding upcoming recommendations and programs.
- Develop, update and present project scorecard updates to leadership team.
- Participate in Brand “on-boarding process” for new Franchisees, as needed.
- Franchise support as needed.
- Facilitate and support distributor and supplier engagements and summits.
**Partner with functional leads as in-house Equipment, Assets, Technology, Operations & Services Program Resource **
- Active engagement in other segments of business as needed (RSCS Member Programs, NCAC Asset/Tech Committees, Restaurant Margin Improvement (RMI), S&OP Steering Committee, etc.)
- Identify and champion implementation of Equipment, Assets, Operations & Services RMI opportunities, including value engineering, as needed.
- Identify new concept opportunities for programs and services.
- Partner with RSCS functional experts for implementation
Additional Responsibilities
- Special projects within RSCS or Brand including process enhancements and strategy development, or related.
- Drive a culture of collaboration around program management best practices in a matrixed organization following and role modeling WC2 cultural values.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Hybrid position: 3 days in the office, 2 days remote.

Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree required, Business or Related Field. Master’s or MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 7 to 10 years business experience with 5 or more years of experience in ONE of the following areas: Operations, Procurement, Program Management and/or Supply Chain.
- Prefer 10 or more years business experience with 5 or more years of experience across several areas including Operations, Procurement, Program Management, Logistics and/or Distribution.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Experience in establishing, building, and maintaining relationships ranging from manager to senior executive levels.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must be an effective facilitator, influencer, and team builder.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with, influence and build strong cross-functional stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to foresee issues before they arise and proactively build strategy to mitigate exposure.
