    Job Description

    Restaurant Depot, a national wholesale restaurant supplier seeking a purchasing/buying assistant to work in our Anaheim buying offices. Job responsibilities include creating purchase orders, price changes, faxing, telephone calls (to vendors and our branches), general office-type work. Prior experience in purchasing field and/or food service highly desirable. Logistics experience/knowledge a big plus! Must be detailed-oriented, have excellent follow-up skills, and have good communication skills. Basic PC requirements include MS Excel, Word, Outlook/E mail, and a general understanding of UPC/bar code system. Must work well under pressure meeting deadlines, and be able to multi-task projects. This is a Mon-Fri full-time position that includes benefits and 401k plan. Excellent growth opportunity for the right person!
