Why You’ll Love This Role – Crew Chief As a Crew Chief, you’ll be more than a technician — you’ll be the one your crew looks to for guidance, coaching, and support on water mitigation jobs. You’ll keep projects moving, help teammates develop their skills, and ensure customers feel taken care of. This is a great opportunity to grow into leadership while still being hands-on in the field.
Shift: Full time, Monday–Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM.
What the Job Looks Like – Key Responsibilities:
Lead by example on water mitigation jobs in homes and businesses
Perform hands-on tasks: water extraction, demolition, cleanup, and content pack-out
Assign and support daily tasks to keep the crew on track
Set up, monitor, and document drying equipment and job progress in company software
Communicate with customers, teammates, and supervisors to ensure smooth project flow
Coach and guide technicians in the field, helping them learn and improve
Encourage teamwork and uphold safety standards on every job
Participate in the on-call rotation

What We Require – Must Haves:
Previous experience in water mitigation/restoration (required)
Must be able to pass a background check going back to age 18 and a pre-employment drug screening
Must have an active Oregon Driver’s License with a clean driving record for the past 5 years
Physical Demands & Working Conditions
Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 70 lbs
Must be able to wear respirators and other required safety gear when job conditions warrant
Must be able to access crawlspaces, attics, and other confined spaces
May need to climb ladders and work at heights depending on the job site
Work is physically active and may involve standing, bending, kneeling, and walking for extended periods
