Full-service restoration company covering the I.E. specializing in water & fire damage restoration is looking to hire an Estimator to join our team.

Position Summary

The Estimator role is critical for the success of a restoration company, as they are responsible for creating estimates in Xactimate utilizing the program guidelines and IICRC standards. They must be detailed oriented and understand the Insurance Restoration industry.

Duties & Responsibilities

Work with Project Manager/ Crew Chief/ Lead Tech on scope of job

Document loss with clear and descriptive job photos and upload into operating system/software

Writes mitigation and reconstruction estimates using Xactimate and other estimating software

Estimate using carrier audit standards and manage the estimate based on feedback from client and customer

Record of Drying using mobile software such as MICA

Communicate w/ insurance companies, and adjusters via phone and email in a timely manner

Manage all estimate documents and assess project risks

Review quotes and estimates with the construction project team

Addresses estimate exceptions in a timely manner
