Restoration Estimator & Insurance Claims Specialist
Benefits:
Bonus based on performance
Competitive salary
Paid time off
The Role
We are looking for a Senior Restoration Estimator & Insurance Claims Specialist who combines field restoration expertise with deep knowledge of how insurance carriers operate. This is a player-coach role: you will inspect losses, write carrier-compliant estimates, manage the full claims lifecycle, and build the internal discipline that drives our scorecard performance and lead volume.
If you have worked inside a carrier, as an Inside Technician or field adjuster, within a TPA network, or as a senior restoration professional who truly understands carrier QA systems and approval workflows. We want to talk to you.
What You Will Do
Claims & Carrier Compliance
Own the full claims lifecycle from FNOL through final payment, meeting all carrier documentation, upload, and communication requirements
Manage video documentation protocols for all mitigation assignments — training, QA, and upload verification
Navigate carrier approval hierarchies: know when IT reviewer authorization is required versus adjuster approval, and ensure all approvals are documented in the carrier system before work begins
Monitor open files daily to prevent upload delays that affect network ranking
Interface with carrier Inside Technicians, desk and field adjusters, TPA representatives, and public adjusters on scope approvals, revisions, and disputes
Estimating & Scoping
Conduct on-site inspections for water, fire, mold, and storm losses — moisture readings, thermal imaging, photo documentation, full scope identification
Prepare accurate, defensible Xactimate estimates that meet carrier standards and achieve strong pass-through rates
Coordinate with the Paul Davis FAST estimating team and review output for carrier compliance before upload
Prepare well-documented supplements with IICRC-justified rationale
Team & Operations
Mentor team members on inspection standards, estimating, documentation protocols, and carrier compliance workflows
Establish internal QA checklists and peer review processes before any estimate is submitted
Support project coordination from estimate approval through job completion
Contribute to SOP development as we scale toward CAT program readiness
What We Are Looking For
Required
3–5 years of experience in restoration estimating, insurance claims management, or a carrier-side role (Inside Technician, field adjuster, TPA reviewer, or equivalent)
Demonstrated knowledge of carrier vendor program operations: upload timelines, documentation requirements, QA review processes, field-reported issue (FRI) protocols, and performance scorecard metrics
Proficiency in Xactimate (Level 2 or higher preferred) and experience managing estimates through carrier platforms such as Xactanalysis
Ability to navigate and document carrier approval hierarchies in accordance with program requirements
Knowledge of IICRC standards (S500, S520, S700) and ability to apply them in scope justification
Valid Florida driver's license
Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
Preferred
Prior experience inside a carrier, TPA, or network management organization
IICRC certifications (WRT, FSRT, AMRT, or similar)
Familiarity with Paul Davis systems and FAST estimating
Experience with multiple TPA programs and preferred vendor networks
What We Offer
Direct access to the Paul Davis national network, training programs, and FAST estimating support
Career growth path toward Operations Manager or General Manager
Small team, real decision-making authority, entrepreneurial environment
Foundational role in a territory covering 1.2M+ residents in an active South Florida market
Base salary $75,000–$95,000 based on experience, plus performance bonuses
