We’re looking for a decisive, disciplined, and highly driven Restoration Project Manager to lead complex mitigation and restoration projects from mobilization to closeout. What You’ll Do As a Restoration Project Manager, you will serve as a front-line leader during complex restoration and large-loss events, overseeing projects from initial response through completion. This is a highly responsive role that requires decisive leadership, operational excellence, and deep expertise in mitigation and construction best practices.
Be available 24/7/365 to respond immediately to local mitigation and restoration projects
Maintain readiness of trailers, equipment, materials, and supplies to ensure rapid mobilization
Conduct on-site walk-throughs with insureds, adjusters, consultants, and decision-makers
Develop, document, and manage detailed scopes of work and projected cost estimates
Secure authorization signatures prior to mobilization and deliver a detailed scope within 48 hours
Identify safety hazards, secure required permits, and ensure OSHA and EPA compliance
Coordinate labor, temporary staffing, subcontractors, materials, and equipment under strict timelines
Assign appropriate labor classifications in accordance with Mooring’s Time & Material Rate Schedule
Oversee daily project documentation including reports, photos, progress mapping, and cost tracking
Communicate consistently with owners, adjusters, consultants, and internal leadership teams
Represent Mooring with professionalism, accountability, and integrity throughout every phase of the project
Qualifications
Required:
Degree in Business, Construction Management, or equivalent field experience
Extensive experience in mitigation, restoration, and construction practices
Proficiency with estimating, administrative, and accounting software
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification
Preferred:
IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT, etc.)
Previous experience in catastrophe response and large-loss project management
