    Builpire is seeking an experienced Restoration Technician who can perform property inspections, take moisture readings and prepare accurate estimates using Xactimate.

    This is a full-time position serving Orange County, Los Angeles County, and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working both in the field and in the office and capable of supporting projects from the initial inspection through mitigation, documentation, estimating, and restoration.

    Responsibilities

    ●Inspect residential and commercial properties for water, fire, and related damage

    ●Identify affected materials and determine the extent of the damage

    ●Take accurate moisture readings using moisture meters

    ●Take clear jobsite photos and maintain complete project documentation

    ●Determine appropriate drying methods and equipment requirements

    ●Set up, monitor, and remove air movers, dehumidifiers, and other mitigation equipment

    ●Maintain accurate daily drying logs and equipment readings

    ●Prepare detailed water-mitigation estimates using Xactimate

    ●Communicate professionally with property owners, insurance adjusters, project managers, and team members

    ●Follow IICRC standards, company procedures, and jobsite safety requirements

    ●Perform and assist with mitigation work as needed

    ●Keep company equipment, tools, vehicles, and work areas clean and organized

    Qualifications

    ●Minimum of two years of water-mitigation or restoration experience

    ●Proficiency in Xactimate is required

    ●Knowledge of water-damage drying procedures, and affected building materials

    ●Ability to use moisture meters, equipment, air movers, and dehumidifiers

    ●Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills

    ●Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects

    ●Basic computer and mobile-application skills

    ●Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record

    ●Reliable transportation

    ●Valid U.S. work authorization

    ●Ability to pass a background check

    ●Ability to safely lift, move, set up, and remove restoration equipment

    ●Availability to travel between jobsites throughout Orange County, Los Angeles County, and surrounding areas

    Preferred Qualifications

    ●Experience using XactAnalysis

    ●Experience working on Third-Party Administrator (TPA) program assignments

    ●Experience communicating with insurance adjusters

    ●Experience preparing mitigation scopes and Xactimate estimates

    ●Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus

    This position includes both field and office work throughout Orange County, Los Angeles County, and surrounding areas. In-person interviews will be held in Santa Ana, California.
