    No restoration experience is required. We will fully train and certify the right person. We’re looking for someone with a great attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn the restoration trade the right way.

    Ideal candidates may have backgrounds such as:

    Handyman or maintenance work

    Construction helper

    Landscaping or physical labor

    Mechanically oriented hobbies

    Any role involving tools, problem-solving, or hands-on tasks

    About the Role

    As a Restoration Field Technician, you’ll work under the guidance of a Crew Chief or Project Manager in a supportive, team-centered environment. You will help perform hands-on restoration tasks to help customers get their homes or businesses back to normal.

    Responsibilities

    Light demolition and removal of building materials

    Operating pumps, vacuums, and extraction equipment to remove water

    Detailed cleaning: vacuuming, brushing, and wiping down surfaces and contents

    Setting up or adjusting drying and filtration equipment

    Accessing small or elevated areas (ladders, crawl spaces, attics, etc.)

    Safe operation of hand and power tools (drills, saws, etc.)

    Practicing proper lifting, chemical safety, and PPE use

    Maintaining a clean, professional appearance on job sites

    Communicating clearly with customers and teammates

    Using smartphones/tablets for job documentation and tracking

    Physical Requirements

    Ability to lift 75 lbs

    Ability to squat, crawl, climb ladders, and work in various temperatures and environments

    Safety Gear Provided

    PPE

    Gloves (varied types based on task)

    Safety glasses or goggles

    N95 respirators

    “Tyvek” style protective suits

    Shoe covers, knee pads, muck boots

    Hard hats, ear protection, steel-toe shoes (as needed)

    Minimum Qualifications

    Hands-on or mechanically inclined background (personal or professional)

    Strong work ethic and positive, team-focused attitude

    Desire to learn and grow into advanced roles

    Comfortable using basic tools and learning new equipment

    Ability to learn mobile apps and job-tracking technology

    Excellent communication and customer service skills

    Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

    Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)

    Experience in handyman work, maintenance, or general construction

    IICRC certifications (we will pay for and provide training)
