Lead Mitigation Technician
OCI Restoration – Raleigh, NC

OCI Restoration is a fast-growing, locally owned, veteran-owned restoration company based in Raleigh, NC. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Lead Mitigation Technician to join our team and help lead water, fire, mold, and emergency mitigation projects throughout the Triangle area.

Responsibilities
Lead water, fire, mold, and emergency mitigation projects
Perform water extraction, demolition, drying setup, and monitoring
Operate restoration equipment including air movers, dehumidifiers, HEPA filtration devices, and moisture detection tools
Complete daily job documentation, photos, and moisture readings
Communicate professionally with homeowners, property managers, insurance adjusters, and office staff
Ensure jobs are completed efficiently and according to IICRC standards
Train and assist junior technicians
Participate in after-hours emergency on-call rotation
Qualifications
Restoration industry experience required
IICRC WRT certification preferred (additional certifications are a plus)
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in physically demanding environments
Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Ability to work occasional nights and weekends for emergency response
Preferred Experience
Water damage mitigation
Mold remediation
Fire and smoke cleanup
Contents handling and pack-outs
Xactimate or restoration software knowledge
Experience leading crews
