    Location: Greater Tampa Bay Area

    Compensation & Earning Potential:

    Total annual earnings commonly reach $62,000, with higher earning potential on large-loss and extended-duration projects

    Typical starting hourly range: $17.50–$22/hour, based on experience, trade proficiency, and overall qualifications

    Flexible compensation: Compensation may be adjusted for candidates with advanced skill sets and leadership capability.

    Overtime, on-call rotation, storm deployment, and extended-hour assignments significantly increase total earnings

    Compensation reflects experience, production capability, and the ability to perform independently on complex restoration projects

    Position Summary: DryCor is seeking an experienced Restoration Technician to support large-scale residential and commercial restoration projects resulting from water, fire, mold, and storm losses.

    This position is a hands-on field role responsible for executing mitigation and restoration tasks in accordance with industry standards and company procedures. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail, professionalism, and a willingness to learn and grow within a structured restoration environment. Participation in an on-call rotation is required.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Perform water extraction, structural drying, mold remediation, and fire/smoke cleanup

    Assess damage conditions and identify appropriate mitigation methods

    Set up, operate, monitor, and maintain restoration equipment

    Accurately document job details, processes, and equipment usage

    Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and team members

    Follow company safety policies, OSHA standards, and industry best practices

    Assist with inventory control, equipment upkeep, and ongoing training initiatives

    Deploy for regional or out-of-area storm events as required

    Support other departments during catastrophic events when needed

    Required Skills & Experience:

    3–5 years of hands-on restoration experience (water, fire, mold)

    Strong customer service and communication skills

    Restoration software experience (Xactimate, Encircle, Proven Jobs, XactAnalysis, etc.)

    Preferred Vendor Program experience strongly desired

    Dependable, adaptable, and team-oriented mindset

    Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

    Willingness to work 40–50+ hours per week, including nights/weekends

    Must pass background check

    Physical Requirements:

    Medium to heavy physical labor; lifting up to 75–100 lbs

    Ability to climb ladders up to 40’, crawl, bend, and work in confined spaces

    Exposure to fire-, water-, mold-, and storm-damaged environments
