Job Summary
The Esthetics Education Manager will identify and monitor the training needs of the Restore Esthetics Education program. Looking forward, they will oversee the implementation of education and training programs, policies, and procedures to fulfill the needs of the organization as it continues to expand. This role reports directly to the Director of Education and will oversee a team of up to 5 Esthetic Educators at our Corporate Headquarters and Regional Training Center locations.
Key Responsibilities
Oversees implementation of esthetician education and training programs.
Suggests enhancements and modifications to improve engagement, learning, and retention and/or to meet the needs of the clientele and organization.
Ensures that training materials and programs are current, accurate, and effective.
Maintains knowledge of new methods and techniques for training and training requirements.
Collaborates with the Instructional Designer to influence the Esthetics Education content.
Collaborates with the other Restore education managers to ensure training is consistent across the organization.
Collaborates with the Esthetic Product Manager to identify problems and opportunities in store operations that training can help improve.
Collaborates with Restore’s esthetic vendors/partners to improve, streamline, and develop new training curriculum for the system.
Evaluates the effectiveness of the training program as it relates to compliance, sales goals, etc.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Supervisory Capabilities
Oversee the daily activities of the esthetic educators.
Conduct annual performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred, not required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Extremely organized and detail-oriented
Understanding of esthetic training processes
Ability to manage both remote and in-person employees
Experience
At least 3 years management experience required
At least 2 years experience working in the esthetics or beauty industry required
Learning & development/training experience highly desirable
Management of remote employees a plus
