A Day in the Life of an Assistant Store Manager

Maintains a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all members, clients, and staff

Provides exceptional customer service through proactive communication seeking to understand needs

Communicates with clients and prospects via telephone, email, and face-to-face, to effectively promote Restore and our service offerings

Welcomes, trains, and assists in onboarding new employees

Continuously improves operational execution through attention to detail and adherence to Restore operating standards and philosophies

Assists in creating a team culture that provides exceptional customer service while working with the Store Manager to ensure all team members are performing to standard

Works alongside the Store Manager to manage, lead, and guide performance and operational outcomes in all areas

Develops and maintains relationships with new and existing community businesses for collaboration and ongoing community outreach

Understands and interprets key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide solutions to drive store growth

Develops and inspires the team through education, motivation, and proactive communication while always delivering feedback

Assists the Store Manager in planning and leading monthly team meetings and ongoing communication

Assists in disciplinary actions or course correction involving all Restore team members

Supports ongoing efforts for store presence on social media channels with local content and store level communication

Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by and in the absence of the Store Manager

Assistant Store Manager Strengths

Position Requirements

Must be eligible to work in the US for any employer

Must be available to work during all store operating hours, including weekends and holidays (when needed)

High School Diploma required; college degree preferred

Two years in retail or franchise management is preferred

Ability to lift 20 pounds.
