Job Description
As a Legal Support Manager at Resultant, you will play an integral role in the Legal Division and in supporting Resultant’s business development pipeline. Serving as a delivery manager reporting to the General Counsel, you will be responsible for leading and completing a wide range of projects in the Legal Division. You will provide expertise in drafting, negotiating, and processing a variety of customer contracts and legal documents connected to the sale of Resultant’s range of services, products, and solutions including software licenses, IT managed services, data solutions, and consulting services. You will also manage key Legal Division functions like maintaining business filings and registrations and improving internal processes and procedures.
Your duties in this role are expected to include the following:
CONTRACT MANAGEMENT
Manage contract activity within the contract management system and in accordance with all applicable business procedures
Analyze, mark-up, draft and approve a diverse variety of legal documents, such as contracts, amendments, and statements of work
Lead and assist in structuring contractual agreements
Facilitate and consolidate internal input into contract language
Manage the lifecycle of contracts, including contract expirations, renewals, extensions, terminations, and amendments
Communicate at all levels of the organization to inform of contractual risks, benefits and negotiation status
Collaborate with the General Counsel, Sales Support and Resultant’s Delivery Teams to ensure contract review is consistent with Resultant policy and appropriately escalate issues
Articulate and explain Resultant’s rationale behind its contractual positions
Communicate internally to inform stakeholders of trade-offs and drive alignment
