    Job Summary:

    The Retail Data Control Clerk is responsible for maintaining data in the computer system.

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    • None.

    Key Responsibilities and Skills

    Accuracy & Detail: Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accurate inventory counts and reconciliation.

    Discrepancy Investigation: Ability to research root causes of inventory discrepancies and resolve them.

    Data Analysis: Ability to analyze inventory data and report on findings.

    Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to report to supervisors and interact with team members.

    Key Requirements and Qualifications

    Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is generally required. A minimum of 6 months to 3 years of warehouse or inventory experience is typically preferred.

    Technical Skills: Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Radio Frequency (RF) scanners, and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

    Mathematical Aptitude: Ability to perform basic math, including calculations for inventory reconciliation, percentages, and ratios.

    Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs frequently and perform tasks such as standing, walking, bending, stooping, and working at heights.
