A family-owned and operated commercial truck dealership for over 31 years, Ameritruck is seeking a hardworking, dependable person to join our team! The candidate should have basic mechanical knowledge/aptitude (preferably with diesel engines) and the ability to perform a variety of tasks and directions in a timely and accurate manner, as related to retail vehicle prep/delivery and low maintenance. We provide excellent benefits (medical, dental, paid vacation/PTO, end-of-year discretionary bonuses) and an M-F work week, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm. Responsibilities: • General maintenance (changing batteries, checking fluid/lights, fueling trucks, etc) • Minor mechanical repairs • Assisting staff in getting equipment prepared for sale • Keep equipment/buildings/work area clean and orderly • Pick up supplies as needed with the company vehicle Qualifications: Valid driver's license Ability to perform physical lifting tasks and be able to climb in and out of commercial trucks General automotive mechanical knowledge and aptitude, preferably with diesel engines, in order to complete minor tasks such as battery replacement, etc. Dependable and personable Compensation: $18 hourly
