** JOB OVERVIEW**
Under the general guidance of the Hotel Manager, the Retail Manager, will oversee all aspects of the hotel's retail operations, ensuring a seamless, elevated shopping experience that reflects the property's brands, aesthetics, and service standards. This role is responsible for driving revenue, curating product assortments, managing inventory, leading retail staff, and delivering exceptional guest engagement while aligning with the hotel's positioning.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain optimal stock levels by ordering merchandise promptly.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to minimize loss and manager shrinkage.
- Develop and implement merchandise displays that enhance the shopping experience and drive sales
- Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction through excellent service
- Address and resolve guest inquiries and complaints efficiently.
- Implement guest service programs that encourage repeat business.
- Recruit, train, and mentor gift shop staff.
- Schedule and supervise staff shift to maximize efficiency.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback.
- Develop sales strategies to achieve store sales goals and maximize profitability.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote special offers and events.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas of improvement.
- Maintain store cleanliness and orderliness.
