    Location : Dazzling Nights™ – Orlando, Leu Gardens

    Position Type: Seasonal Part-Time

    Timeline :

    • Pre-Show Setup Dates: November 10th, 2025 - November 20th, 2025
    • Show Dates: November 24th, 2025 (Media Night)
    • November 28th - 30th (Opening Weekend)
    • December 4th - 7th
    • December 10th - January 4th, 2026
    • Post-Show Dates: January 6st, 2026 - January 9th, 2026

    General Job Summary:

    The Merchandise Tent Concession Staff supports retail operations at Dazzling Nights by providing excellent guest service, restocking merchandise, and assisting with inventory tracking. Staff will work under the direction of the Merchandise Concession Manager to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient retail space. This position requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a guest-first attitude.

    Pre-Event Setup Summary (Build):

    • Assist with unpacking and organizing incoming merchandise.
    • Set up product displays, signage, and sales areas in the merchandise tent.
    • Label and stock shelves and back-of-house inventory. Event :
    • Greet and assist guests with merchandise questions and purchases.
    • Operate Square POS system to complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
    • Restock products throughout the shift to maintain full displays.
    • Maintain a clean, tidy, and visually appealing sales area.
    • Follow all inventory procedures, including assisting with mid-shift and end-of-night counts.
    • Report low stock, guest feedback, or issues to the Merchandise Concession Manager.
    • Handle products with care and adhere to company standards for merchandising and guest service.

    Post-Event Breakdown Summary:

    • Assist with end-of-season inventory and merchandise packing.
    • Break down displays and help restore the tent to pre-show condition.
    • Help clean and organize remaining supplies and materials for storage or return.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff, volunteers, and guests.
    • A customer service-driven mindset focused on delivering a positive guest experience.
    • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented event environment.
    • Proficient in POS systems and basic math for transaction handling and sales reporting.
    • Able to speak, read, and write in English.
    • Physically capable of lifting, loading, and maneuvering concession equipment during setup and breakdown.
    • Ability to complete physically demanding tasks, such as standing and/or walking for long periods.
    • Ability to work outside in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold temperatures).
    • Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs. Reasonable accommodations may be made to allow differently-abled individuals to perform the essential functions of the job.
    • Ability to problem-solve and appropriately escalate issues as they are encountered in the field

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in retail merchandise and concession operations
    • Familiarity with merchandise handling
    • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
    • Ability to lift and move supplies and equipment during setup and breakdown

    Rate of Pay: $16.00 per hour. This position typically works a 35+ hour work week.
