    Purpose-Driven Wellness Center We are seeking a Retail Operations Lead to strengthen and lead the retail operations of our wellness center. This is a leadership seat within our organizational structure, accountable for: • Retail Performance • Production Operations • Inventory & Purchasing You will own and drive the systems that support our retail and apothecary arm - ensuring margin protection, production stability, and inventory discipline. This role blends independent leadership with collaboration across departments. Full-Time | 30–40 hrs/week (seasonally adjusted) in-person | Ayurvedic Wellness Center This role strengthens the operational container that supports that work. We are seeking someone who brings calm, grounded leadership into the space - someone who understands that operational discipline directly empowers healing. Openness to learning about Ayurveda and the context of our work is expected. Prior background is not required. Responsibilities: Retail Performance • Monthly retail dashboard (Revenue, COGS, Gross Margin, Contribution Margin) • POS and pricing accuracy • Inventory turnover and SKU health • Seasonal refresh and product decommission cycles • Margin protection • Reducing Founder involvement in day-to-day retail decisions Production Operations • Oversight of the apothecary team • 4–6 week rolling production calendar • Production scheduling aligned with sales velocity • Reduction of reactive/emergency batching • Waste and shrink tracking • SOP documentation and continuity Inventory & Purchasing • Vendor relationships and ordering cadence • Reorder point management • Pricing, minimum, and lead-time monitoring • Shipment discrepancy resolution • Quarterly SKU rationalization • Inventory accuracy • Prevention of avoidable stockouts Qualifications: Required: • 3+ years in retail operations, inventory management, or small-business operations • Strong financial literacy (KPI, COGS, margin, reporting) • Experience with POS and inventory systems • Systems thinker with strong organizational discipline • Comfortable owning and being accountable for a profit center • Experience managing others in a production or operations setting Preferred: • Experience in specialty retail or product-based businesses • Familiarity with structured accountability systems (EOS or similar) • Interest in holistic health or wellness environments What We Value • Leadership within a collaborative team environment • Accountability to measurable results • Emotional maturity and steadiness • Respect for the healing context of our work • Commitment to continuous improvement Compensation Structure • $20–$25/hour • 30–40 hours per week (seasonally adjusted based on revenue) • Compensation advances via a documented competency framework • Performance reviews aligned with operational KPIs and margin protection Benefits Include: • PTO • Health insurance • Retirement account + employer match • Performance-based bonus • Retail discount Compensation: $20 - $25 hourly
