    Today we are seeking  (2) Retail Pharmacist for a Per Diem schedule for our client in Baltimore, MD. 

    Candidate can be a New Graduate or experienced pharmacist to apply!!!

    Per Diem Pharmacist hourly rates $65.00-$70.00 per hour.

     

    This team is looking for (2) compassionate, patient centric pharmacist to manage pharmacy operations by covering or providing overlap for their current pharmacy manager positions. Their goal is to make them feel empowered in their role that they both will play when managing the pharmacy and personnel in conjunction with the current pharmacy manager. This position is a per-diem for the pharmacist at their pharmacy locations within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Baltimore, Maryland. The hours of operation for their Pharmacies are Monday thru Friday and closed on the weekends.

     

    As a per-diem pharmacist for their pharmacies located within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), you will receive the benefit of a retail pharmacy type setting with a Monday thru Friday potential schedule. As the per-diem pharmacist, you will be responsible in managing their pharmacy relationship with their health center client. This includes engaging with clinic providers and their clinical staff, providing drug related education, and acting as a member of the patient care team.

     

    The Primary Role: Their patients' health, compliance, and satisfaction are the most important factors to them. As their per-diem pharmacist, you are responsible for demonstrating the highest standard of patient quality care - from advising on prescriptions to helping treat chronic and specialty conditions. In addition, you are responsible for facilitating a team culture that promotes caring, enthusiasm, and pride by leading, and directing your pharmacy staff to achieve specific goals.

     

    Essential Job Functions:

    • · Provide support and education to patients on their medications.
    • · Management of staff pharmacist and technicians, if applicable. Address knowledge gaps by increasing knowledge through education and training.
    • · Pharmacy operational management and oversight. This includes:

    • · Keep abreast and stay current with HIPAA and Fraud Waste and Abuse credentialing.
    • · Comply with all applicable legal rules, regulations, and procedures.
    • · Ensure that the Pharmacy and its employees are compliant with Federal, State and Local laws regulated.
    • · Ensure that the Pharmacy and its employees are aware and compliant with local facilities policies.

       

      Required Education & Licenses:

    • · Required licensing/credentialing/certification as established by federal and state regulations in the state in which you are practicing.
    • PharmD in Pharmacy degree from an accredited university is required.

      Preferred Experience and Skills:

    • · Previous experience in a retail pharmacy setting, 340b knowledge is a bonus but not required.
    • · 3 years related pharmacy experience.
    • · Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • · Exceptional patient service skills.

      Physical Requirements:

    • · Standing for long periods of time
    • · Fine motor skills – repetitive hand motions via keyboard/phone
    • · Ability to hear, write, and speak effectively

      Hours:

    • · Monday-Friday 9-6 and closed from 12-1 for lunch (hours may change as needed).
    • · No major holidays
    • · No Weekends

      Skills and Certifications [note: bold skills and certification are required]
      4-5 years retail pharmacy experience and min.

    • 3 years pharmacy management exp.
      2-3 years of retail pharmacy exp.
      Familiar with implementing strategies to increase scripts and customers
