    FarmaKeio NM is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician for a retail position with a minimum of 32 hours a week. This is not your standard retail pharmacy position. If you prefer a high-volume grind, this is not the position you are looking for. Schedule is Monday through Friday. *** Responsibilities: Major Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to): • Provide administrative support for company management as needed to effectively execute company activities • Comply with all applicable federal and state pharmacy laws • Interact politely and effectively with patients, practitioners, and others • Perform duties in compliance with SOPs and best practices, as directed and appropriate • Prescription fill workflow • Claims processing follow-through • Contacting patients and/or providers regarding prescription processing issues • Prepare completed products for dispensing • Prescription medication and OTC inventory • Physical counts • Answering incoming calls • Coordinating the delivery of prescriptions to patients • Maintaining a clean and organized work area • Assisting with the management of the supplies inventory • Assure prompt and positive action on all questions, concerns, and suggestions • Manage, train, and provide feedback to new and existing staff members • Assist with updates, edits, reviews, and additions to procedure documentation • Provide suggestions to improve customer service, company systems, or processes Qualifications: Job Requirements • Technician certification (PTCB or ExCPT) and licensed in the state of New Mexico • Obtaining licensure in other states may be required to fulfill state-specific regulatory obligations • Experience in retail or compounding pharmacy • Proven effective verbal and written communication skills • Superior customer service and interpersonal skills • Organizational skills • Cashiering experience • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods of time, and shall have no allergies to chemicals that might be used during compounding Preferred Qualifications • Passionate about integrative, regenerative, and functional medicine • Computer Rx and/or LifeFile software experience • Independent pharmacy experience • Ability to think outside the box • High degree of situational awareness and detail orientation • Knowledge of drug costs and drug plan reimbursements • Bilingual in English and Spanish • Strong Computer Skills
