Pharmacy Technician

📍 Plano, TX | Full-Time ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ We're a growing independent pharmacy looking for an experienced Pharmacy Technician who can hit the ground running. Enter new and refill prescriptions accurately in PioneerRx

Adjudicate claims and work third-party rejections; DUR, refill-too-soon, prior authorization, NDC and quantity issues, and plan limitations

Follow up with prescriber offices on authorizations, clarifications, and PA paperwork

Assist patients at the counter and on the phone with refills, status updates, and insurance questions

Fill, label, and prepare prescriptions for pharmacist verification

Manage inventory, ordering, receiving, and returns

Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA

Support daily workflow under the supervision of the pharmacist

Active registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy

Proficiency in PioneerRx (required)

Hands-on experience with prescription data entry and third-party claim rejections

Strong customer service and phone skills

Open availability: Monday–Friday 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Saturdays 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs

Preferred

Bilingual English/Spanish

Prior independent or retail pharmacy experience

Starting pay: $18.00 per hour, based on experience
