The ideal candidate will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and driving sales through effective communication and product knowledge. They will ensure a seamless shopping experience for our customers, uphold our store’s high standards, and contribute to our mission of providing the best holistic care for pets.
Key Responsibilities:
Store Operations: Efficiently manage the opening and closing of the store, ensuring all procedures are executed to the highest standard.
Inventory and Ordering: Oversee inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and coordinate ordering processes to ensure product availability and freshness.
Customer Service Excellence: Create a welcoming shopping environment. Maintain an exceptional level of customer service. Resolve customer issues with professionalism and patience, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Training and Development: Participate in ongoing online and in-person training, enhancing your knowledge of holistic pet nutrition and sales techniques.
Loss Prevention: Implement and monitor loss prevention strategies to minimize shrinkage and ensure store security.
Sales and Targets: Meet and exceed sales targets by actively engaging customers, promoting products, and providing expert recommendations on nutrition.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in retail sales or customer service.
Knowledge of holistic pet nutrition and products is highly desirable.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
Possesses strong interpersonal skills with an outgoing and friendly personality, allowing for effective customer engagement and a positive shopping experience.
Ability to handle challenging situations with grace and professionalism.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Working Conditions:
Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings.
This role involves physical activities such as standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and moving stock.
