Position Summary: As a Retail Sales Associate, you'll be the face of Mattress Home, guiding customers through their purchasing journey and ensuring they find the perfect sleep solution. Your role is pivotal in delivering a seamless and personalized shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers, understanding their needs to recommend suitable products.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product features and promotions.
Achieve individual and store sales targets.
Ensure the showroom is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
3+ years of commission-based mattress, furniture, or high-ticket retail sales
Proven experience closing $2,000+ average tickets
Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills
Prior responsibility for training, coaching, or leading sales associates
Ability to lift up to 125 lbs (with assistance)
Experience working weekends in a retail environment. Weekend and holiday availability required
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a strong advantage
