    About the Role:

    Fat Fender Garage is a growing automotive shop specializing in restomod Ford F100s, full custom builds, chassis packages, and high-end parts. We’re looking for a full-time Retail Sales Representative to join our team and help manage incoming sales calls, assist customers with orders, and support several key departments.

    This is a great opportunity for someone with strong communication skills, solid product knowledge (especially automotive), and a passion for the industry. You'll work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where no two days are the same, and you'll be part of a tight-knit team that’s passionate about what they do.

    What You’ll Do:

    Answer 10–25 inbound phone calls daily

    Assist customers with placing phone and online orders

    Send payable invoices via email and follow up accordingly

    Respond to and follow up on leads via phone/email

    Provide technical product support and parts knowledge

    Work with Customer Service to identify upsell opportunities

    Help manage our B2B vendor program

    Collaborate with the Marketing team on campaigns and outreach

    Coordinate with Shipping to ensure orders are fulfilled on time

    Participate in 3–6 national truck shows/events per year (weekend travel required)

    Provide feedback to improve systems, processes, and the overall customer journey

    What We’re Looking For:

    1–2+ years experience in sales, retail, or customer service (phone and online)

    Passion for the automotive industry — especially classic trucks and hot rods

    Strong written and verbal communication skills

    Comfortable using Shopify, ShipStation, Excel, and modern CRMs

    Highly organized and confident juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced shop

    Mechanical/technical knowledge strongly preferred (bonus points for Ford & LS engine familiarity)

    Spanish-speaking is a major plus

    Training & Support:

    New hires will receive 2–3 weeks of hands-on training to learn our parts catalog, internal systems, and brand voice. You’ll also have access to detailed cheat sheets, CRM tools, subject matter experts, and a supportive team that wants to see you succeed.
