Renewed Outdoors, LLC is looking to hire Retail Sales Associates at both of our Perrysburg locations. Renewed Outdoors is a local landscape supply company that serves the Perrysburg and surrounding areas with bagged and bulk landscape products, which we manufacture. We also offer lawn fertilizers, grass seed, bagged and bulk mulch products to customers of all sizes. We offer a smaller selection of small animal and garden supplies. Store Hours: M-F 8 am - 5 pm, Saturday Spring/Summer 8 am - 3 pm, Saturday Winter 8 am - 12 pm, Sunday 10 am - 3 pm Benefits: • Dental insurance • Employee discount • Flexible schedule • Health insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Weekly Day Range: • Monday to Friday • Weekend availability/ Saturday and Sunday Job Types: Full-time Responsibilities: Duties would entail supporting and growing sales for products and continuing to nurture current and future customers. • Customer service for Retail and Wholesale clients. • Operating a Point of Sale system as well as other computer-focused databases. • Building a customer base both by upselling current customers to their needs as well as finding, creating, and nurturing new customers. • Offering a full array of landscape products and having the knowledge to quickly learn the industry and the needs of the industry. • Working mostly inside with some outside work focused on customer interaction and loading of bagged and bulk goods. • Operating point of sale (POS) and customer relationship management (CRM) software. We are willing to train as needed. Proficiency in the Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, etc.) or other relevant software is a plus. • Willing to operate equipment or willing to learn how to operate equipment. This includes a smaller forklift, wheel loader, or similar. We are 100% willing to train for this! Equipment operation is a requirement for the success of this position. • Receiving and stocking inventory, both in computer inventory and on the sales floor. • Answering phones and taking orders utilizing strong auditory and reading comprehension skills. • At times, lifting 30lbs-60lbs bags of products. • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Qualifications: Weekend Availability is required for this position. Special Hours during Seasonal and Winter business influx are also required. This will be explained further during the interview. Experience or a history in the landscape or agricultural industry would be a benefit, but not a requirement. Experience in customer service is preferred. Prior sales experience is recommended, but not required, for extremely motivated and self-led individuals. Advancement within the company is likely for motivated individuals.
