    POSITION PURPOSE
    The Retail Systems Coordinator plays a key role in supporting retail operations by ensuring smooth system integration, maintaining accurate data alignment, managing IT requests, and recommending process improvements. This role serves as the primary point of contact for all retail IT needs and works closely with store and corporate teams to optimize operational efficiency.

    ROLE OVERVIEW
    In this position, the Retail Systems Coordinator ensures that retail store data is consistently accurate and aligned with central systems. This includes performing regular audits, troubleshooting discrepancies, monitoring system performance, and maintaining seamless data flow between stores and corporate databases. The role also serves as the main liaison for IT-related issues, managing and prioritizing service tickets, coordinating updates and installations, and supporting store teams with hardware and software concerns.

    The coordinator evaluates existing retail processes to identify opportunities for improvement and recommends operational enhancements that increase efficiency and reduce costs. This includes working closely with retail operations, store management, and IT teams to develop and implement new processes or tools, as well as supporting the rollout of new retail systems and technologies.

    Additional responsibilities include assisting in training store staff on new systems, reporting on system performance for leadership, supporting technology deployments, and partnering with cross-functional teams such as operations, merchandising, and IT to ensure retail strategies are executed effectively.

    SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
    The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Retail Management, or a related field, or has equivalent work experience. They should have at least one year of experience in retail operations, technology, or a related area, along with strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with retail management systems, POS systems, and the Microsoft Office Suite is essential. The role requires the ability to manage multiple priorities, familiarity with IT troubleshooting, a process-improvement mindset, and comfort working in a fast-paced retail environment. Occasional travel to retail locations may be needed.
