    Job Description

    The Marketing Manager position provides an opportunity to drive all elements of a smaller organization’s marketing efforts – from brainstorming and strategy through development and execution. The ideal candidate will be organized, creative, tech savvy, and a strong writer / proofreader. The candidate must be capable of working independently, willing to ask questions, and able to distill and communicate information in a clear, efficient manner.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Create and implement smart, effective marketing campaigns for key audiences (plan sponsors, plan participants, prospective clients, internal staff and advisors)
    •    Campaigns may include components including but not limited to emails, webpages, videos, press releases, advertisements, flyers, and brochures
    • Collaborate across departments to identify marketing needs, and to maximize the efficiency and efficacy of campaigns
    • Calculate and analyze marketing metrics
    • Maintain public website; lead upcoming website refresh
    • Manage and grow firm’s social media presence
    • Create and edit video content
    • Source promotional items and track inventory
    • Lead bi-weekly marketing meetings
    • Maintain marketing calendar and budget
    • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

    • Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience applying marketing principles
    • Experience with HubSpot strongly preferred
    • Experience with LinkedIn, Facebook, Adobe InDesign, YouTube, Salesforce, and web design and hosting preferred
    • Experience in financial services a plus
    • Proven copywriting and proofreading skills
    • Sharp organizational skills and a keen attention to detail
    • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact, coordinate, and influence across all departments and staff levels 
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, diverse, and growth-oriented setting
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred

    COMPENSATION:           Commensurate with education and experience. Estimated range $60,000-$70,000.
