BENEFITS ANALYST

Retirement Solution Group, LLC is a fully independent retirement plan consulting practice, with an emphasis on providing Consulting Services, Co-fiduciary, Third Party Administration (TPA), participant education and Actuarial Services.

JOB SUMMARY

The Benefits Analyst assists clients and participants with the best service possible. Day to day activities may include processing loans, distributions, deposit transactions and office duties. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Create and submit year end data requests.
• Submit 5500 forms to EFAST.
• Update and mail out notices to clients and/or participants.
• Send out reminders to clients.
• Provide customer service to plan participants, employers, providers and vendors, etc. including phone, email, US mail, faxes, etc.
• Assist plan participants with questions and provide necessary forms and directions.
• Process withdrawals (termination of employment, in-service, hardship, RMD, etc.)
• Ability to work from home 1-2/days per week after 6 months of employment.
• No to little travel is required and expected to occur. 
• Sort and Scan/File incoming mail.
• Assist with office supply ordering
• Additional task and projects may be assigned.

DESIRED BACKGROUND

·         2 to 5 years of  working experience preferred but not necessary

·         College degree required  

·         Knowledgeable in aspects of pension or benefit administration, entry level bookkeeping/accounting/payroll experience a plus.

·         Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and other Microsoft Office programs
