Our North Dallas area TPA Firm is looking for a Administrator to join our team. Our small office offers flexible work schedules and a casual work environment which still provides outstanding professional service to our clients. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work independently at their own pace, with limited supervision, while remaining responsive to clients and meeting all deadlines.
Applicants must be capable of performing defined contribution annual administration, from A to Z.
Requirements:
· Required - Minimum 5 years experience as a DC Administrator
· Experience with prior recordkeeping management system preferred. DATAIR a plus.
· Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel, required
· Knowledge of ERISA regulations and documents
· Proficient in nondiscrimination testing, 5500 filings, and employer contribution calculations
· Strong communication skills and the ability to respond to DOL/IRS issues
Job Duties:
· Manage and meet Deadlines
· Review and provide input on client invoicing
· Address client issues/concerns in a timely manner
· Provide audit support as needed
· Communicate with clients, financial advisors, and CPAs both orally and in writing
· Consult with and advise clients on technical and regulatory issues
· Perform RMD and QDRO calculations
· Nondiscrimination testing, 5500 preparation, and contribution projections
· Identify and advise client on plan design issues
· Assist new business team as needed with conversion process, including preparation of illustrations for new prospects, new documents, and new client set-up
This position requires a firm knowledge of current and historical ERISA law, with an expectation of ongoing learning and research.
