  • Responsibilities

    As a real estate development and management company, much of our work at Retreat Hotels Resorts consists of complicated transactions, financial reporting, and contracting. As such, we’re looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented person, who is comfortable with numbers, to assist our Director of Development & Operations. The team is small and highly driven, but also warmly embracing of new people, ideas, and perspectives. Logistics • Part-time, 10-20 hours/week with room for future growth. • Remote work from home, with one day per week in Wilmington, DE. • Schedule is flexible, but must be available to work within standard business hours (8 AM-5 PM M-F) • $20 to $25 per hour, depending on experience. Responsibilities: • Provide administrative assistance to the Director of Development & Finance by helping with data entry and record management • Assist with tracking and reconciling invoices from a variety of sources and vendors • Develop and maintain a system for tracking business entities, insurance policies, and permits • Support registrations and renewals for business accounts, state and city filings, and business insurance across multiple projects • Prepare contracts (with a template provided) for execution by the Director of Development or company President, across a variety of disciplines • Evaluate documents to ensure information is complete and accurate, and update relevant information and records in the appropriate locations • Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion • Assist with other tasks as appropriate Qualifications: Requirements • Highly organized, and efficient, with strong attention to detail • Professional and punctual • Skilled with Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience Preferred • One to two years of experience in a similar role • Experience with business insurance policies, government filings, etc. • Financial literacy • An ability to proofread for big-picture comments, as well as grammar Compensation: $20 - $25 hourly
